Young-Star Will Play(s) Dublin Date
Will Young
On February 9, 2002, and after 4.6 million votes, Will Young became the winner of Pop Idol, the successful U.K. live entertainment TV show and the pre-cursor to The X Factor. His debut single "Anything Is Possible/Evergreen," became the fastest-selling single in the UK, a title previously held by Band Aid's 1984 hit "Do They Know It's Christmas?". Young studied politics at Exeter University before moving to London. His musical passion grew while studying musical theatre at the Arts Educational School in Chiswick, but after his pop career took off, his studies took a back seat and the singer has become one of the most liked pop stars to emerge from a reality series in recent memory. He'll play songs from his 4 album back catalogue at Belfast's Waterfront Hall on November 9th and Dublin's Olympia on November 10th.

Will Young - From Now OnTo hear some people talk, you'd think that poor old Will Young was guilty of single-handedly destroying pop music. It seems a bit harsh, considering that the Pop Idol winner is no better or worse than...MORE
