Kildare pop rockers Bell X1 released their fourth album Blue Lights On The Runway in February this year, going Number 1 here in Ireland and since achieving over Platinum sales. The first single "The Great Defector" reached Number 1 in the Irish Airplay and Download Chart, and the follow up "The Ribs Of A Broken Umbrella" has enjoyed great airplay also. Highlights of the summer have included live shows at Benicassim, supporting U2 at Croke Park, sell out Live at the Marquee-Cork, and yesterday’s fantastic Electric Picnic performance. The band toured the UK/Europe and the States earlier this year and head off to the States, Europe and the UK again in September for the second time this year. BELL X1 have announced one exclusive performance for this November 2009.They will play the intimate surrounds of Dublin’s Olympia on Friday November 27th 2009. This very special show tops off a phenomenally successful year for the band both home and abroad. Tickets are priced €29.
