New Girl: Series 1
From executive producer and writer Liz Meriwether (No Strings Attached), New Girl features a young ensemble cast that takes a fresh look at modern relationships. Jess Day (Zooey Deschanel) is an offbeat and 'adorkable' woman in her late 20s who, after a bad breakup, moves into a loft with three single guys. Goofy, positive, vulnerable and honest to a fault, Jess has faith in people, even when she shouldn't. Although she's quirky and somewhat awkward, Jess is comfortable in her own skin. More prone to friendships with women, she's not used to hanging with the boys--especially at home.
As their relationships progress, this fivesome comes to realise they need each other more than they ever thought they would, and end up forming a charmingly dysfunctional family.

I thought this show, after seeing the whole first series online, is really unique and pretty funny. All the characters seem to blend together very well and Zooey Deschanel is really likable, so are others. Can't wait for season two.Posted 00:35 | Sat 19th May 2012

HIGHLY RECCOMMEND, this show is amazing! The script is hilarious and the characters do an excellent job! The characters are hilarious. I also liked how the cast wasn't full of glammorous well-known actors because it made the show more credible. Zooey Deschanel and Max Greenfield are the best in my opinion. If you arent keen on watching the whole series look up funniest 'Schmidt' lines because they are hilarious! If you have the time WATCH this show!!Bring on season 2!!Posted 21:54 | Sun 1st Jul 2012
