FRIDAY 21st JUNE - AVIVA STADIUM, DUBLIN
Worldwide superstar Rihanna - the "#1 Person On Facebook" with over 62.5 million fans – is bringing her DIAMONDS WORLD TOUR to Europe in 2013. The RIHANNA DIAMONDS WORLD TOUR which begins March 8th in the United States is scheduled to stop in more than 28 cities across North America prior to its European takeover. The European tour starts in Bilbao, Spain on May 26th and runs through July with stops already announced in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Irish fans will also have the chance to catch Rihanna on her Diamonds World Tour when it visits the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Friday, 21 June. Tickets from €59.50 inclusive of booking fee go on sale at 8am this Friday, 30 November from Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.ie.
Rihanna is currently dominating global charts with "Diamonds," the fastest-rising single of her career to date, and the first single from UNAPOLOGETIC her 7th studio album for Island Def Jam in just seven years – released November 19th. "Diamonds" also just marked Rihanna's 12th time at number one on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and with only a six-year, one-month, two-week stretch between her first #1 chart topper with "SOS" on May 13, 2006 and the release of Diamonds last week, she is officially the fastest female artist ever to receive 12 number one titles at the top of the Hot 100. It is also Rihanna's 23rd Top 10 hit on the chart. When it debuted four weeks ago, "Diamonds" garnered #1 postings at iTunes in 27 countries, and Top 5 iTunes in 55 countries.
