Budding producers from all over Ireland are gearing up to compete in Coca-Cola's 'Battle of the Beats', a massive nationwide hunt to seek out Ireland's next superstar producer. The contest kicks off on the 17th of April and invites wannabe producers to re-mix Mark Ronson's London 2012 Olympic track 'Anywhere in the World'. The winning remixer wins a mammoth €5,000 worth of recording equipment and the title of Beat Champion of Ireland.

The lucky 'Beat Champion of Ireland' will also appear on Coca-Cola's Move to the Beat TV (Coke's online web series) where they will be profiled and interviewed by TV presenter Daniella Moyles and radio DJ Brian Maher.

Battle of the Beats is part of 'Move to the Beat', a global campaign by Coca-Cola to celebrate the 2012 Olympics. Coca-Cola joined forces with GRAMMY award-winning music producer Mark Ronson to create an exclusive 'Anywhere in the World' featuring Mercury Music Prize 2011 nominee Katy B. 'Anywhere in the World' uses the sounds of music, sport, London and Coca-Cola to create the Coca-Cola global music song for London 2012.

Entrants can download all the stems from the Mark Ronson and Katy B track at coca-colaremix.ie from April 17th, to create their own remix of 'Anywhere in the World'. The remixed track must not be over 4 minutes in length and will need to be submitted to coca-colaremix.ie by May 4th. The 5 remixes with the most votes on coca-colaremix.ie will be sent to Mark Ronson for his expert approval. The overall winner will be selected by a judging panel made up of producer Phil Misk and DJs Dave De Valera and Brian Maher.
