The Dandy Warhols play Dublin's Vicar Street on Wednesday April 18th, 2012. The legendary Oregon band will be performing tracks from their many albums including Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia and their brand new album This Machine, which is slated for release in Ireland on April 20th.

The Dandy Warhols formed in Portland, Oregon in 1994. The band was founded by singer-guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor and guitarist Peter Holmström, with keyboardist Zia McCabe and drummer Eric Hedford later joining. Hedford left in 1998 and was replaced by Taylor-Taylor's cousin Brent DeBoer. The band released their first major label record in 1997, when they signed to Capitol Records. …The Dandy Warhols Come Down featured the much played single Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth. In 2001, the band gained huge international success with the release of the album Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia which featured the singles Bohemian Like You and Get Off.

This Machine, due for release in Ireland in April, is The Dandy Warhol's eight official studio album. The collection was recorded over the course of 2011 at The Dandy Warhol's epic rock clubhouse/entertainment/megaplex/studio The Odditorium.
