The Comedy Cellar turns 25 this February

The Comedy Cellar is 25 years old this month and what better way to celebrate then having a party!!
25 years ago a few young lads wanted a place to show their comedy wares and upon finding the perfect comedy room above the International Bar on Wicklow St. Kevin Gildea, Barry Murphy & Ardal O'Hanlon, or Mr. Trellis as they were known collectively, founded The Comedy Cellar. Since then it has gone on to become the spiritual home of Irish Comedy and every Irish Comic either started here or did some of their earliest shows here.
This month on the 27th we celebrate 25 years of comedy with some of the hosts who have been resident MC over the years including Paddy Courtney as well as some of the best new performers coming through at the moment like Foil, Arms & Hog.
We know where we will be on the 27th February! You can book tickets here.
