Pat Shortt returning to Vicar Street

Our very own "master of the art of lampooning" Pat Shortt is returning to the stage for one night only this February with his new show 'I am the Band'. Hitting Vicar Street on Saturday February 16th, Shortt's one-man show tells the story of the life and times of his super popular character Dixie Walsh, he of the Jumbo Breakfast Roll, and his career as a solo lounge musician. With the audience taking part as old friends and peers of Dixie's, Shortt's quirky interpretation of rural Irish life and people takes the format of an informal 'Audience With...' style show, and fans of Shortt's previous sell-out shows “You Won’t Get Away With That Here” and “The Hall“ are sure to revel in the best of what one of the country's hardest working comedians has to offer.

Tickets for 'I am the Band' go on sale this coming Monday November 19th at 9am, and are priced from €25, which is a bargain considering the amount of comedy crammed into the evening.
