Irish Comedy All-Stars Showcase

Ten of Dublin's finest underground comedians are coming together for a once off showcase in The Mercantile on Tuesday the 29th January.
What is 'underground comedy'? you say. Does it involve molemen comedians? Will I need a shovel and one of those hard hats with a lamp attached? No, no and no.
Underground comedians are the unrepresented working-class of the comedy scene. They may not be as recognisable as all those flashy TV comedians, but if you're a regular on the Dublin comedy circuit you'll definitely know a face or two.
These are the guys who open for national touring headliners, who regularly pick up awards at Irish and UK competitions and who make up the core of acts of the Edinbrugh Fringe Festival. They're the next big thing, oh and they're funny too.
Making up the lineup on the night are: George Fox, Robbie Bonham, Tom "The Bear" O'Mahony, Edwin Sammon, Jim Elliott, Danny O'Brien, Trevor Browne, Gerry McBride, Gordon Rochford and Totally Wired.
To make the occasion that little bit more special, the night will be recorded and made into an album, which will be released later this year.
Venue: The Mercantile
Date: 29th January 2013
Time: Show starts at 8:30.
Price: €4 at the door or for FREE if you email your name to irishcomedyallstars@gmail.com before 5PM on the 29th.
