British Comedy Awards live tonight on Channel 4

If you're looking for a comedy treat on this cold dark December evening and don't feel like leaving the comfort of your home, you can catch the 2012 British Comedy Awards live on Channel 4 from 9pm. Hosted by Johnathan Ross, the awards aim to highlight the best in British Comedy in the past year, but mostly it ends up being a bunch of comics trying to outdo one another on live TV. As such, expect anything and everything to go down. And we've got some of our very own comics to get behind as well, as not only is Chris O'Dowd up for Best New Comedy Programme with Moone Boy, but Moone Boy himself David Rawle is up for Best Comedy Breakthrough Artist. If he's there, we hope the Big Boyler takes care of him, because it's going to be nothing short of a wild night. Fingers crossed he does whatever any other 11 year old at an awards ceremony would do, and hassle celebs for pictures and make them all love him, Sofia Grace and Rosie style. Best of luck David!
