17 Again
We know the story, but it's still a good one. - Papillon
Ok, we know the principle: someone is unhappy with their life and wishes they were adults (like in Big and 13 going 30) in order to make their own choices in life. This one is the other way round!
Mike O'Donnell (Adult) played by Matthew Perry is not happy with the way his life is going. You see, when he was 17 he was on top of the world, popular in school, the basketball team captain, with a gorgeous girlfriend. But on the night of the most important game of his life Scarlett (Allison Miller) announces she is pregnant, so Mike leaves fame and irresponsible teenage years behind and marries her. But now he can't help complaining about what might have been if only... Scarlett (adult played by Leslie Mann) can't take it anymore and throws him out. Life gets even worse when he loses his job.
At this point he admits to the high school janitor that he wishes he was 17 again. And guess what? This is exactly what happens! So he grabs this opportunity to get the life he lost. And that comes with all the incidents that can possibly happen when one hasn't been a teenager for more than 20 years and now attends the same school as his own kids.
His young self is played by gorgeous Zac Efron which makes the movie even more enjoyable! It is not a brillant mind blowing piece and it's pretty predictable but it is very entertaining and the humor is very good. You will definitely have a good time watching it.
