Coraline
Freaky - TAAML
Watched this in 3D and it freaked me out, my son was with me and he didn't bother watching it (had the 3D glasses on the back of his head), Quite dark and would be a good one for holloween more so for young adults not for young kids if you want them ever to sleep.

Captivating - ClaireBear
As a childrens movie this film is suprisingly dark which is what is to be expected by a film based on a novel by Neil Geiman. With voices by Dakota Fanning and Teri Hatcher the film is interesting... MORE

Not exactly Nightmare before Christmas - Patrick
Very enjoyable to watch but it is hard to figure out what audience it was made for. It does not have the slapstick and interesting sense of humour that was in Nightmare before Christmas, but it is a... MORE

Fantastic - Doyler
An excellent film, though perhaps too dark for the young audience it's ostensibly aimed at. From a character's name being a reference to his parents not wanting him (Why Born?), to Coraline making... MORE

Spooky and brilliant - Crazy
Coraline is a fantastic adventure mixed with spookiness. So make sure not to bring very young children to this feast. And yes it is a feast of a film. Its a magical, dark tale with a sinister edge... MORE

Join The Dark Side - DJ Dodgy
Coraline represents a blessed release from the 'paint by numbers' animation that has begun to lull us into formulaic views of what animated cinema can achieve. Coraline challenges this status quo in... MORE

Coraline - Emer Breen
Coraline is a creepy, dark childrens fairy tale that is similar in many ways to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. It is a wildly imaginative, wickedly creative and very well done film. On the one... MORE
