Match Point
not bad by Woody - mart1n
Shortly after a career in tennis, Chris (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) has now found himself to be employed as a tennis pro at an posh country club. While there he meets a guy called Tom played by Matthew Goode a mister wonderful who introduces Chris to what is his very wealthy and fairly influential family, including his sister Chloe. Looking for a move up in class, Chris then marries young Chloe, but Toms fiancée, an American girl Nola (Scarlett Johansson) is what he really wants. An affair starts and Chris starts a social journey that threatens his somewhat perfect and respectable life. This is really good drama for the first time in a long long time from Woody Allen, in what i hope will hopefully relight the great and very creative fires that are in him for many more years.
