This film is an absolute masterpiece. Filled with stunning performances, beautiful scenery, amazing tricks and effects. If you enjoy mystery, intrigue, suspense and magic this is a great movie for you. This is a movie you have to follow from the beginning to the end. It's very dramatic and very well put together. Excellent choice of actors and a good script make this movie better then you're average magician movie. This movie is about a friendship between two magicians that becomes twisted and filled with revenge and jealousy. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale are young magicians who work together in their early career, but some dramatic events turn them on each other and create an intense rivalry. That is all I will say about the plot or it will be ruined for you who have not yet seen it. Suffice it to say that there are enough twists and turns to keep a pretzel maker busy for years. Fantastic movie and is the benchmark for quality entertainment.
