The Bucket List
Deeper that it seems - Tyrrelled
As the movis starts we meet the two men who are preparing to lead us on a discovery over the next hour and a half or so in a sublte and attention holding way. One, a working class hero, a man who has struggled all his life to provdide for his family, ensuring they do not need for anything and the other, a wonderfully rich and fiercly unhappy bachelor. They may be the same age, but the similarities stop there. The two men are forced to share the same hospital room while they undergo tests to get to the bottom of their porblems and during this time, before the results come through, we get to see how different they are. The Bad news however changes everything. They don't have a lot in common so their conversations are often shallow, but it is also visible that the questions they ask their room mate are actually directed at themselves. An unlikely couple, but circumstances dictate. The film moves along nicely, with the men struggling to understand themselves, giving us satisfaction as they do. The ending is Hollywood, but then again for this particular movie, I think that it's the only fitting end. A truly enjoyable movie.
