The Prestige
Hhhmmm, POP! Aha! - Eamonn Cleary
As the title, opening dialogue and trailer suggest, this is one of those films that is going to, if you are like me, make you sit very close to the screen trying desperately to see EVERYTHING. I love these sort of films but they do have a drawback you spend so much time looking for the twists that sometimese you forget to watch the film. The Prestige suffers from this slightly, however maybe this is yet more of the trickery becuase having spent two hours looking for the trick I would gladly watch it again for the engaging performances,Jackman and Bale portrying their obsessions brilliantly.
