She's The Man

My ten year old and myself really liked this film. It's an uncomplicated story which has some very funny scenes, and Byrnes has good comic timing, an expressive face and appeals because she doesn't mind being made to look unattractive. The plot is that Byrnes attends soccer school in her twin brothers place, as she is a football fanatic (and he isn't), all she wants to do is play soccer but being a girl, she is not eligible to attend the school. The story then follows what happens when she falls for her roommate, and her journey from ladette to lady. It's an easy film to watch and you find yourself rooting for Byrnes to get the boy.

i love this movie of a girl who trys to find her dream of playing soccer by drssing up as a boy. i never laughed so hard that i never fell off my chair. this movie is well worth watching for those... MORE
