The Spiderwick Chronicles

A mother and three teenage children move from New York into an old house in the country. Nobody is impressed with the change in circumstances. The first night in the house one of the twin lads discovers a book with a warning, similar to the one on the game in 'Jumanji'. Their normal lifes is suddenly infused with brownies, fairy's, goblins, hobgoblins etc. I havn't read the books the movie worked well and I won't mind watching more in the series.
