This film is about Emma Lloyd who is played by Thurman who is a radio show host who gives out relationship advice, and is loved by the women of New York. One day she gives advise to a lady who decides to call her wedding off, her boyfriend Patrick played by Morgan (who would want to be careful he does not spend his whole career in this type of film) is devasted and decides to get revenge and with the help of a computer wizard he marry's Emma. When Emma and her boyfriend Richard played by Firth want to get married they discover this and Emma has to go and find Patrick and get an annulment. The film then falls apart Firth looks bored out of his brains or maybe he realizes he has dodged a bullet in not marrying Emma, which is the problem with this film you really do not care who she ends up with as none of the characters really appeal to you. The only humor in the film is brought by the Indian man in the restaurant and he has far few lines, as I said in the Summary if you want a chick flick wait for 27 dresses as this film is dull and at best can be described as painting by numbers
