This Is England
Solid British Drama - Fozz
A distinctly British drama, which is not a bad thing. The 80's in urban England were probably grim and this movie shows all that but is surprisingly not grim in its portrayal. It's a balanced view of life on the streets with rampant unemployment, the Falkand's war and brimming racism setting the tone. Stephen Graham (from 'Snatch') is the standout, playing the psychopath with an unnerving edge. Recommended if you like real-life drama.
