I went to see this last night having heard good things about it. Two friends told me in the last week to go and see it because it's hilarious.One, who isn't a fan of the American Pie type American humour, said he even thought it was hilarious. So I went in expecting a good laugh.
Very poor movie. It really wasn't very funny at all. There were a few parts that were funny but nothing side-splittingly good. The way the main character speaks about sex and girls is really blunt and tries to be funny in that regard but it honestly just came across very juvenile. Also the few times where the language was funny lost impact (and interest) because the continual use of it was so exhaustive that it just became boring.
Really expected more from it and was very disappointed with the level of humour. The poor girlfriend was bored silly after five minutes.
