Wish more money was spent on writing than the fighting!! - Johnny Clerkin
I'm not Michael Bay's biggest fan after such classics as the Island, Pearl Harbour + Armageddon, so i went into transformers with a sense of pessimism.A film such as Batman Begins spoilt me so its a yard stick for comic to movie screen transistions, the problem that affects tranformers is that the overriding memory of the film is noise, the action scences are too fast + badly edited to be memorable, the characters have been made into charictures because of a terrible script which centers on the jokes Tom Green could only be proud off.
The plot is only in the film so that it gives the viewers a break until Bay decides he wants to blow more stuff up. The CGI is impressive but as a movie fan i know that almost anything can be done a computer, so is really too much to ask for all the millions spent on CGI can you fork out just a little bit more money on a script and a plot and release the mokeys they have writing back into the wild!!!!
