The Hunger Games
Great Suspense, Does the books justice - Stephanie19
Having read the books previously, I was apprehensive about seeing the film. However it lived up to all the wonderful reviews it has been given. The story line is brilliant, but a film I definitely recommend you read the books before hand to truly grasp the whole story. Jennifer Lawrence portrays Katniss very well allowing you to understand the character better than I had thought possible.
The arena scenes were filmed brilliantly, really giving you the sense of the vastness of the forest and the grim reality of the murdering to take place there.
The soundtrack was one of the best additions to the film I felt. It really grabbed you from the moment the film started, every piece of music fitted perfectly to the drama on screen.
Definitely worth a watch,5 stars , gripping film, on the edge of my seat the whole time (and I already knew what was going to happen!)
