War Horse

Sentimental Claptrap - Coz Noleon

5 Points

Thanks to EI I got to see a preview of War Horse. I was really looking forward to seeing this given the reviews I'd read.

I'm so glad I didn't pay for my ticket.

I found the entire movie to be slow, uninteresting sentimental rubbish.

The cinematography was beautiful but beyond that there's nothing of note to this movie. I can't understand how it received any Best Picture Nominations, other that the fact the Mr Speilberg is involved.

Irvine is wooden throughout and the only empathy he derives is via the John Williams score.

Dreadful movie.
