50 First Dates
Renewed romance every single day - Papillon
Henry Roth's (Adam Sandler) only concern is the next lie he is going to say to get out of committing to any of the women he seduces.
But all this is about to change when he meets beautifully sweet Lucy (Drew Barrymore) and a miracle happens: he wants to see her again! That is when something strange happens... The next day she doesn't remember him at all. He discovers then that she suffers from amnesia since a terrible car crash. And her memory is stuck on that day and every day she relives the same day (almost like Groundhog Day, except that she is not aware of it of course).
So Henry decides to woo her every single day and make her fall in love with him every day, over and over and over again.
The concept is original and who doesn't want to be swept off their feet every day? It's a very entertaining romantic comedy and the performance of the actors is great. It is lovely to see Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore back together since the Wedding Singer. But the Oscar is won by Willie, Henry's penguin!
In conclusion: great original romantic comedy and set in beautiful Hawaii. Very enjoyable.
