Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

I liked the first in the sequence - way back when the dead pirates were collecting the gold coins. Since then the audience have been to hell and back, far off Asian shores and its perhaps its Captain Jacks nature that he keeps going to the bitter end but I'm not sure an audience is necessary. If it wern't for the large sums of money involved this film wouldn't not have been attempted. Penelope Cruz wears a low cut dress, there are sword fights and boat races but the novelty has faded. The good news is that the target audience will hardly notice the absense of a story line. On the other hand worse films are expected during the summer.
