The Collector (2009)

This film was over blown to the point of ridiculous, a painfully slow start doesn't help the pointless and random setting for this movie. A bad guy who is apparently the flash considering the speed with which he set the traps around the house (and fixes later on) has decided to kill this family even though its called the collector I'm still not sure which person out of the family he wanted to 'collect' all is revealed in the craptastic ending but lets not jump ahead just yet. After seeing the saw films I figured it would be a gore fest which is all fine, I also however expected there to be a semblance of plot, you know a reason as to why this guy is collecting people, why he is doing this but no this very crucial point has been left out of the movie entirely making it just another badly done and boring to watch horror. Oh and after setting up all those intricate traps, for people who are tied up downstairs I might add, he then just stabs everyone, how boring is that! You spend ages setting all these things up and then just decide to poke them to death with a bit of steel where is the imagination in that! Save yourself a couple of hours of boredom and don't see this movie. I gave it one star because that was as low as it would let me go. This is possibly the worst movie I have seen......ever.
