Hot Tub Time Machine

To put this film in the same sentence, let alone category, of 'The Hangover' is an insult. It is a badly cast, disjointed, completely predictable comedy. The characters are underdeveloped and you have little or no empathy for their 'plight'. Yes, I do know what genre it is, but who wasn't rooting for Michael J Fox to get back to 1985 in Doc's time-machine? A Chevy Chase cameo is thrown in to get the audience numbers up, but his role is completely superfluous, and more than a little annoying. This film had a major chance to redeem itself by choosing a quality soundtrack from both the 80s and today, but didn't. A film that could have been great, failed to deliver on every level.
