Terrible - Gary
In this film Gerard Butler tries to do an American Accent as well as he did an Irish one in PS I love you and the rest of the film is just as bland and phony. Butler plays Clyde Shelton whose wife and child are killed he survives and when the justice system in the form of Jamie Foxx (still has not made a good film since Ray and that has not changed here) decide to do a deal with his family's killer to reduce his jail time Clyde snaps. He decides to get revenge and kill everyone associated with this from the killers to the DA and even when he is in jail it is still happening. The problem with this film is Clyde is not that Likeable and compared to Michael Caine in Harry Browne a much Superior film all that Law Abiding Citizen has going for it is explosions. Give this a miss get out Harry Browne instead.
