28 Weeks Later..
feeding time - Bud
I thought the first one was good, it's hardly like we're lacking for solid zombie movies lately; 28 Days Later was hardly unique in being literate, realistic, and well directed. generally; not just as regards the diminished standards of horror As sequels go, this is certainly more more Hollywood(ised). Fresnadillo, shows great potential, and great respect for 28 Days' down and dirty graininess, keeping the infected horribly lifelike, and the scenes of plague-ravaged London are suitably breathtaking. However, when your predecessors have reinvented the wheel, there is not much more that you can do but keep it turning. The initial shock to the system of 28 Days Later has gone, leaving us wondering where the next innovator will come from. 28 WEEKS LATER, takes place six months after the rage virus practically exterminated the population of Britain. US led NATO forces move back to secure the country for the survivors. Don, is reunited with his children Andy, and Tammy, who were luckily in Spain at the time of the epidemic. Don survived, but his wife Alice didn't. Or so he believes. It only akes one person to start another outbreak. Soon the army is on Code Red – destroy anyone or anything not in uniform. Enjoyable.....
