Julie and Julia
A Good evening at the flics - Siobhan L
Julie is turning 30 and is less than happy with her personal success as compared to her peers. In order to find something good in her life she begins a blog which focuses on her passion in life - cooking. She remembers the joys of learning about Julia Childs cooking and decides to base her blog on Childs major work - 524 recipies in 365 days. We also follow Child as she too identifies her passion for cooking in Paris. This is a good movie but not the best film any of these outstanding actors has been involved in. All the same, I came home and took out my second hand copy of the book to make Julias Beef Bourguignon.
