Good take on 80's England! -
Opening sequence of this movie and we're introduced to a number of iconic images from the 1980's. A clever way of establishing time when you're on a low budget. The cast are made up of largely unknowns and deliver good performances all round with Sean{the 12 year old lead} outstanding. The story line and dialogue compliment each other even if they are a little weak in parts but overall it's an interesting take on Thatcher's Britain of the 1980's and the aftermath of the Falklands. A subject rarely visited on the big or small screen. In terms of dealing with the comlex area of Britsh Neo-Nazism it's a good start but certainly not definitive. Still a good film though..
