Long way from hilarious. - Slick
I salute Cohen's courage in putting himself in harm's way with rednecks and conservatives-but there's no pay off. It's just not funny enough to hold your attention. It is in fact not much fun at all, and I was ready to leave at any time. Yup there's the shockafrolic factor, but it quickly get's to yawn out loud, and is conversely homophobic. You've seen all the best bits on promo's, the rest ain't up to much. Bruno's attempts to gain world fame is a basket of outrageous antics, but the comedy lacks structure or finesse...crude, rude vulgarity does not by it's nature mean funny-Bruno associates the two, this viewer did not. If you've got money to waste, you've been warned!
