Duplicity

Jz this is a movie in love with its self...it keeps on doing that clicking music and multiple shots trying to emulate the Thomas Crown Affair (Original was very bad, remake was excellent) ...but this...someone get over yourselves you aren't going to be good just by trying to equate yourselves with the Crown Affair. This is the jester sneaking in and trying out the kings crown and robes and prancing in front of the mirror!! The story is about two agents who cross paths and cross each other who then get involved in the business of corporate spying. The decide to each work for firecely rival companies to steal from one and sell to the other. As a story it is good, it gets told in a series of rewinds and it is definitely good and interesting and the ending which I obviously won't give away was also an interesting twist...but trying to ride on the back of the Crown Affair and the endless multiple screen shots and the over complex layering of flash back rewinds all server to add an hour too much onto what would have otherwise been a decent enough movie. worth a watch but will do for DVD! and a comfy chair. as it is cinematic jerking off to the TC Affair...
