Wow!I went to see Confessions of a shopaholic not expecting much but boy was i surprised! This film travels in the company of Legally Blonde but is not just aimed at the pink girly laughs of the same vein, instead I believe anyone would have a giggle and chuckle and even a guffaw or two at this very funny comedy!Isla Fisher plays Rebecca Bloomwood our shopaholic with such gusto and talent she's surely one to watch!Rebecca is a hapless fashion aficonado who just cannot say no to splashing out on Prada, Gucci or whatever happens to be "on sale".Hence she finds herself in major debt and unable to help herself.The laughs come with the manner in which she just seems to land herself in trouble.Firstly while trying to get her dream job in a fashion magazine Rebecca finds herself, amazingly, employed to give financial advice in a finance magazine! All the while she's pursued by her debt collector Derek Smeath a fantastic nemisis to our Rebecca! Meanwhile to complicate matters Rebecca has fallen for her boss Luke Brandon played by the gorgeous Hugh Dancy, her best friend has urged her to join Shopaholics Anonymous but she just cant stop shopping!The laughs in this film jut keep coming.So sit back and enjoy a great comedy treat!
