Wow, I was really impressed with this movie... when I went to see it I hadn't heard too much about it, my favourite movie this year had to be Iron Man, but this really came a close second. The film starts off with Neeson trying to re-establish a relationship he never had with his daughter as he had been away for so long when she was growing up due to the fact he was a secret agent for the US government. He was divorced and his wife had remarried a millionaire. And as any father who knows the bad things out in the world he is very over protective of her. His daughter heads off to Europe for the summer with her best friend, and due to a stroke of bad luck she ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time and is kidnapped and during the kidnap Neeson is on the phone to his daughter he gets the chance to speak to her kidnapper and he tells them if they don't let her go he will find them and he will kill them, but as these criminals are at this all the time and are seemingly untouchables with governments afraid to touch them. Neeson goes to his ex-wife and her husband and uses his millions to get to France in a hurry. The daughter has been kidnapped by an international gang who sell the girls into prostitution, both on the streets and to the super rich. Neeson uses his contacts and skills to track down the gang and he has plenty of obstacles in his way, and I know he has to kill plenty to get to her and I think I'd be right in saying that he enjoys the killing, cause he does it so well. In so many movies you see the hero let the bad guys live, but here the bad guys are bad guys and the get what they deserve every time. Some might say that the killings are over the top and that it's an unbelievable story, but hay these gangs are out there and who's to say they don't get what they deserve now and again. If you like your action movies, like the Bourne's, 007's and Die Hards, then you will love this.... This is a must see movie for any action film. money well spent.
