Even though the album cover looks like something that a heavy metal band might use, An End Has A Start is far from that. The very distinctive screeching guitar in each song means that there is a continuity in this album; unlike so many albums that sound like a collection of songs just thrown together. If you aren't already a fan of Indie music, this is certainly the album to turn you. Each song feels as though it has been crafted with a common goal in mind but with this plus comes a very large negative- You can listen through the whole album and not many songs stands out. This brings the album very close to backround music territory with exception of Bones which begins with a shrill rift that is fantastic to listen to. Overall this is a thoroughly enjoyable album that won't shock anyone with a revolutionary sound, but it does enough to draw in a wider audience without compromising their sound. A job well done I say.
