Known as the first mockumentary, This Is Spinal Tap has since become the genesis for the likes of The Office, Borat and Modern Family. Following a 1980's hard rock band on a particularly fateful tour, it launched the careers of Michael McKean, Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer.
Directed by Rob Reiner and co-written by Christopher Guest, This Is Spinal Tap is considered to be one of the greatest comedies ever made.
As part of entertainment.ie's Cinema Club, we'll be hosting a very special screening of This Is Spinal Tap at Sugar Club, Dublin on May 11th.
It all kicks off at 8PM, where we'll be playing selections from Spinal Tap's discography as well as themed cocktails and pizza.
