Young Adult version Of 50 Shades of Grey anyone?

Are you sick of hearing about Fifty Shades of Grey, even before the film version movies intro production? Well it's already getting its first cinematic knock-off... and it isn't even a porno.

A "young adult" version based on Jamie McGuire's novel Beautiful Disaster is currently in the midst of a bidding war from the major studios. According to Darkhorizons (via The Hollywood Reporter) the novel centres on "college good-girl Abby Abernathy, who doesn’t drink or swear. She makes a bet with the lean, cut and tattoo-covered Travis Maddox - if she wins he must abstain from sex for a month, if he wins she must live with him for a month." Apparently it somehow delves into the kinky malarkey of 'Shades' which I still haven’t read - because I'm not a sexually frustrated housewife.
