Sigh. Right, let's get on with it.

Yes, there is a Mean Girls spin-off on the way. Jennifer Aniston will play a mother of two who moves from small-town America to the high-class suburbs and finds herself at odds with the hyper-competitive parents therein.

Sean Anders, who directed the utterly meh Horrible Bosses 2, will be writing and directing this. He'll be writing this alongside Abby Kohn (who adapted Nicholas Sparks' The Vow), John Morris (who wrote Dumb An Dumber To), Chad Gomez Creasey (who wrote a couple of episodes of Castle and straight-to-video Legally Blondes) and Marc Silverstein (who also adapted Nicholas Sparks' The Vow and wrote He's Just Not That Into You).

So, yeah. That's not exactly filling us with confidence here. How many writers did Mean Girls, you ask? ONE. Tina Fey. TINA F**KING FEY.

And is she involved with this, perchance? Nope.

Look, we're not writing this off right now, but there is literally nothing here to make us think it will be any good. At all.

Maybe there'll be a decent cast that can work with a script written by this lot?

Probably not.
