Our very own Lenny Abrahamson has kicked off production of his next film, Room, in Toronto by adding a few cast members.
The film, based on the bestselling novel of the same name, focuses on a young woman held captive in a room with a small child and sounds eerily similar to the Josef Fritzl case.
Veteran actors William H. Macy and Joan Allen have joined the cast along with Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay.
Abrahamson's last film, Frank, was a critical smash and solidified Abrahamson's place as one of Ireland's finest directors.
Room is expected in cinemas in 2015.
