Will Ferrell recently mentioned in an interview that the script for Zoolander 2 has been handed in and he's had a read through.
His character, Mugatu, will have a role in the film and that other actors involved the original will hopefully be returning.
Ben Stiller mentioned in a recent interview that he's actively rewriting the film and that he hopes it will become a reality soon.
All in all, it looks like Zoolander 2 will be happening quite shortly.
Initial thoughts? Remember when we thought Anchorman 2 was going to be brilliant? Yeah.
Don't get us wrong, we've every hope in Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller's comedic talent, but going back to the well rarely works out for all concerned.
There's been no official confirmation on whether or not Zoolander 2 is even going ahead yet so this may be all for nothing. That said, we desperately want to see Mugatu again.
