So, after last Saturday night's SAG awards there has been much speculation as to who's going to grab an Oscar on March 2nd. Historically, the SAG awards have been pretty reliable in predicting the eventual winners of the little gold man with the silly name.

Moreover, many of the chief commentators on everything 'Oscars' suggest that the quality of a speech given at the SAGs could make, or break, an actor's chances of winning an Oscar, due to the timing of the SAG awards being televised shortly after the Oscar nominations come out. I think Cate Blanchett has done herself no harm with her acceptance speech for Best Actress for her performance in 'Blue Jasmine'. A nice toss up of humour, appreciation, modesty and of course a cheeky little cry at the end. Cate, put the feet up, you've got it wrapped up, luv.

With this in mind, take a gander at some of Saturday nights' speeches and decide for yourselves.

 1. Cate Blanchett- Best Actress, Blue Jasmine

2. Lupita Nyong'o- Best Supporting Actress, 12 Years A Slave

3. Jared Leto- Best Supporting Actor, Dallas Buyers Club

4. Matthew McConaughey- Best Actor, Dallas Buyers Club
