The story of the trapped Chilean miners was one of the biggest and most talked-about stories in 2010.

Unsurprisingly, the movie rights were bought almost instantly and a production was underway in a matter of months.

Antonio Banderas and Lou Diamond Phillips star as the two leaders of the thirty-three miners who were trapped at the Copiapo Mine in Chile, whilst Rodrigo Santoro plays one of the government types sent in to save them.

Gabriel Byrne pops up as some foreigner who's also helping with the rescue effort, whilst Juliette Binoche also turns up as a humanitarian involved in the rescue effort.

Look, we're not completely chalking this one down as emotionally manipulative and cashing in on a story, but, y'know, the shoe fits.

Take a look. Or don't. Whatever.
