One of the biggest movies of the summer, Guardians of the Galaxy was absolutely brilliant, and the comedic element to it was part of the reason for that.

Perhaps that was best shown by the fact that at the very end of the movie, a moment that should be hugely dramatic and filled with tension, Pratt's character Peter Quill started dancing instead. It turns out that there was a scene in mind for the end that didn't make the final cut, but if you get your hands on the Blu Ray or DVD edition of the movie that gets released soon (just in time for Christmas, of course), then you can get a look at an outtake that features a pretty fantastic dance off.

As you might imagine, it's absolutely excellent, and if you haven't seen it yet, this is a spoiler. Look, we told you it was the end of the movie. Anyway, check out at these sweet moves.

You can read more about where Pratt drew his inspiration from for his powerful moves over on BuzzFeed, where he also talks about the scene being mostly ad-libbed, and how weird it was to have a dance of in front off 200 extras in alien make up.

There will also be some extra features on the DVD/Blu Ray about everyone's favourite dancing twig, baby Groot, making it the perfect stocking-stuffer.
