The second full trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence is online and we've got a lot more plot details and a lot more explosions.
So we've got a more of an insight into the plot for the sequel to what was the biggest blockbuster of the 90s. Twenty years on from the events of the first movie and Earth are preparing to celebrate the anniversary of their Independence Day. However it looks like there'll be some unwanted guests this year and they may not be ready for them. Time hasn't been kind to Bill Pullman's scruffy looking President Whitmore since the events of the original though it seems like he'll be needed to rally the troops again.
The best part of the trailer is Jeff Goldblum's David Levinson commenting that the aliens "like to get the landmarks" as he and Liam Hemsworth attempt to escape a crumbling London.
Independence Day: Resurgence will be released on June 24th.
