This is not going to be your standard superhero movie. This is going to be so much more.
Yesterday we got a sneak peek at the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, all 15 delicious seconds of it, and last night the first full trailer made its debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Starring Chris Pratt (of the 5-star reviewed and super successful The Lego Movie), Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, (the voice of) Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Benicio Del Toro and plenty other big names, Marvel are putting plenty of money and effort into their next big gamble in keeping their franchise universe alive.
Guardians tells the tale of Peter Quill (Pratt) AKA Star-Lord, who 'becomes the target of bounty hunters after stealing a mysterious orb and links up with a ragtag band of misfits with the fate of the galaxy at stake', and is set for release on August 1st.
With plenty of comedy pros on board, this looks set to be something other than your average space romp, especially if this trailer is anything to go by. And if you still don't know who Chris Pratt is, get thee to some Parks & Recreation and educate yourself on one of the funniest actors out there, because he's about to be huge.
