Singing in Irish is the new thing, everyone's doing it sure...

The YouTube success of Coláiste Lurgan has seemingly proved that there's an audience out there who want a musical as Gaeilge, and so a new project, backed by The Arts Council's Youth Ensemble Scheme, has made that dream a reality.

Bonsoir Luna is the story (told through songs in Irish) Duke, a street artist, and Luna, a blind barista, who fall in love. However, it seems that Duke hasn't won over his potential mother-in-law Paula, who distrusts his motives, so he has to get all the street artists together from around George's Arcade to prove otherwise.

This May, the short movie will feature in the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, so here's hoping it gets a great reception.
