The Nice Guys is easily one of our most hotly anticipated films of this summer.

It's not just because it looks hilarious, teams Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe together in a '70s-era detective noir. It's because it's all of those things and it's directed by Shane Black, the man behind Iron Man 3 and the screenwriter of the Lethal Weapon series. Yeah, the guy who basically invented the buddy-cop genre. That guy.

This trailer's a little spoilerific, unfortunately, so unless you don't mind seeing big swathes of the film laid out for you, better to skip it and wait for the film's release on June 3rd. Also, that soundtrack is incredible. Amazing. How often do you hear The Faces on a trailer these days? Not often, people.
