Looks like those promises of a lot more of Mark Ruffalo's Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron weren't empty, and if the latest trailer for the film is anything to go by he won't be the only doing some smashing when the film is released in May.

There's not much new to be seen (more Hulk versus Iron Man, more Ultron clones tearing up the world) but the glimpses of new footage that we get include more of what appears to be our Avengers coming apart at the seams (which may have something to do with James Spader's Ultron promising to tear them apart "from the inside"), a shot of Andy Serkis' as-of-yet undisclosed role (even though any Marvel fan worth their metal knows that he's Black Panther villain and Vibranium-fan Ulysses Klaw) and everything generally looking mighty grim.

But what are heroes for if not fighting adversity and saving the day? We'll find out when Avengers: Age of Ultron hits cinema screens on May 1st.
